Graduates of the Master of Arts in Biblical Studies program will…

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the content, structure, and historical context of the Old and New Testaments.

• Acquire proficiency in biblical interpretation, including exegetical methods, hermeneutical principles, and critical analysis of biblical texts.

• Explore key theological themes and doctrines within the Bible, including salvation, covenant, redemption, eschatology, and the person and work of Christ.

• Engage with biblical language tools (Hebrew and Greek) at an intermediate level, enabling students to interact with Scripture in its original languages.

• Understand, appreciate, and critically engage the world around them in ministry from a Biblical worldview through regular engagement with Scripture, prayer, worship, and fellowship in the Christian community through a local church.

• Develop skills in biblical research, writing, and communication, including articulating and defending a literal, historical, and grammatical interpretation of the Bible.

• Prepare for further academic study or vocational ministry roles in preaching, teaching, pastoral care, counseling, or other areas of Christian leadership.

• Foster a lifelong commitment to biblical study, theological reflection, and spiritual growth, grounded in a deep love for God and His Word.
